DESTINATION
Discover with us the magic of the Ribeira Sacra; one of the most picturesque areas of Galicia, located between the provinces of Orense and Lugo. Paint your way through its medieval villages, incredible landscapes, wine cellars and some of the jewels of Romanesque art in Spain.

COURSE PROGRAMME
We will learn different painting and drawing techniques in magical places in the north of Spain. The programme may change, it will be tailored to each experience according to the season.

OUR ARTIST: ALÁN RAMIRO
Years ago, when I was working as an intern in an architectural firm, I saw a senior architect sigh and say: That sentence marked me. I saw the nostalgia in his eyes and I knew that I never wanted to lose my connection to drawing. That moment was a turning point: I decided not only to continue drawing, but also to inspire others to pursue their artistic dreams now, before time turns them into a That decision led me to leave architecture and embark on an 18-month journey around the world, charting my path. I started in Mexico, to connect with my roots; I went on to Europe, to explore my other half; and I ended up in Brazil, where I met the woman who is now my wife. I currently live in Lisbon and dedicate myself entirely to teaching, leading online workshops and face-to-face retreats in Europe, Morocco and Latin America. My approach combines technical fundamentals, composition, perspective and my favourite method: draw the shadows firstall with a strong emphasis on personal expression. For me, drawing is much more than representing what I see. It is a way to explore, connect and grow. Through my workshops, I help others to overcome creative blocks, gain confidence and develop a sketching practice that is authentic and full of life.
