From philology to art: the creative journey of Társila Jiménez.
Társila Jiménez Peñarrubia (Madrid 1968) holds a degree in
Hispanic Philology at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Self-taught in her beginnings, although she had the good fortune to grow up among verses and
her father Diego Jesús Jiménez, a poet and painter, passed on to her all of his
painter, passed on to her all his sensitivity for this art. He worked
for several years in the Fine Arts Service of Drawings and Engravings of the National Library.

Her passion for watercolour led her to give up her profession as a documentary
and devote herself fully to watercolour and its teaching.
